Kia Motors Launches Sub-Compact 7 Seater Sonnet

Kia Motors has launched its sub-compact 7 seater sonnet in the Indonesian market. The company will soon launch it in other markets as well. There is talk of launching it in the Indian market as well. Currently getting a 5 seater sonnet. Kia has a market share of 5.45% in the Indian market. She has joined the top-5 companies. There is not much difference in the 7 seater compared to the 5 seater model present in the Indian market. The company has added a third row to it.

The 7-seater Kia Sonnet will not come with a sunroof. The AC vent has been installed on the roof of Second Row for the passengers sitting in the third row. The AC vents are placed between the front row seats for second row passengers. The second row seats of the Kia Sonnet 7-seater can also be reclined, meaning they will be able to do it back and forth. Second Row's seat can be banded to go to Third Row.

It gets a 1.5 liter Grama II SmartStream Dual CVVT engine. This engine generates power of 115 PS at 6,300 rpm and peak torque of 144 Nm at 4,500 rpm. Intelligent VT transmission and 6 speed manual transmission are available with this engine.

The car has a 10.25 inch LCD infotainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes features like multiple Bluetooth connections, USB and AUX connectivity, voice recognition.

It includes 6 airbags, anti lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), brake assist, electronic stability control, hill assist control, emergency stop signal, rear camera, dynamic parking guide, remote engine start, wireless mobile charger and tires. Many features are available such as the question monitoring system.

The Kia Sonnet 7-seater model has been priced at 199,500,000 Indonesian Rupees (about 10.21 lakh rupees) in Indonesia. It has been introduced in 6 colors. These include Clear White, Intelligence Blue, Intense Red, Steel Silver, Aurora Black Pearl and Seed Gold.
