Strive Health gets $140M for kidney care

Strive Health, a startup aiming to slow the progression of kidney disease, secured a $140 million Series B round of funding led by Alphabet’s CapitalG. The Denver-based company employs groups of trained clinicians in a geographical area who tap into data to slow patients’ disease progression and manage other avoidable health risks.

Austin-based SchooLinks, a college and career planning platform, raised $8.3 million in a Series A round led by LiveOak Venture Partners.

New York-based Fridge No More, a 15-minute grocery delivery service, received $15.4 million in a new funding led by Insight Partners. The startup will use the funding to bring on additional staff and expand across New York City and the East Coast.
