Dallas-based Pickup, a startup that provides delivery services for large items, has raised a $15 million Series B round led by NewRoad Capital Partners. The company, which operates in 75 U.S. cities, works with brands to deliver large items like mattresses and furniture.
Gro, a London-based company building protocols to simplify user experience for decentralized finance, or DeFi, raised $7.1 million in a seed funding round led by Galaxy Digital, Framework Ventures and Northzone.

Newly renamed Tomorrow.io (formerly ClimaCell), a provider of weather intelligence modeling software and technology, raised $77 million in a Series D round led by Stonecourt Capital. The funding announcement follows the launch of the Boston-based company’s Operation Tomorrow Space project, which uses satellites equipped with radar to improve weather monitoring and forecasting.
