Brazil-based Nuvemshop lands $90M for commerce platform

Brazil-based commerce platform Nuvemshop is back with a $90 million Series D, five months after securing $30 million in Series C funding. Accel led the new round for the company, which offers a suite of tools around payments, shipping, inventory management and marketing for online businesses.

SecurityScorecard, developer of a platform for predicting and remediating security risks, announced that it raised $180 million in a Series E funding round backed by a long list of new and existing investors. The financing reportedly sets a valuation of close to $1 billion for the New York-based company.

Shelf Engine, a developer of software geared to help grocers reduce food waste, raised $41 million in a Series B round led by General Catalyst. The Seattle-based startup aims to cut grocery industry waste by outfitting stores with intelligent forecasting and an order automation system for perishable items.

New York-based Cylera, a health cybersecurity provider, closed a $10 million Series A round led by Concord Health Partners and Maverick Ventures. The 4-year-old company develops technology to help protect hospitals from cyberattacks and keep vital medical equipment working.

Cryptocurrency platform Coinbase registered to sell 114.9 million shares in its upcoming Nasdaq direct listing. In other news, U.K.-based Vaccitech raised $168 million in Series B financing to support the clinical trials for infectious disease and cancer treatments.
